Highlights of the 2016 Auto Show

Cars of Parade

The International Auto Show proves that parades aren’t just for kids. It’s time to picture a line up of 2016’s hottest cars, local TV stars and entertaining props. Put on by the organizers of America’s Thanksgiving Parade, this parade is a debut of shiny hood ornaments and revved-up engines that you won’t want to miss. (3:30pm & 7pm daily)

Only on Mlive Day, January 16th, could a selfie and a hashtag make you famous. Step into the Mlive Glitterbooth (it’s a photo booth) and take FREE pictures. Throughout the day the photo booth snaps will run across the big screens— making you a local star and giving you the chance to earn big prizes from BOSE. If you miss the photo booth, just put your cell phone to use and hashtag #NAIAS to win more awesome prizes throughout the week.

Military Day
Tuesday, January 19, the NAIAS is tipping their hats to all military and veterans. Enjoy a ticket discount with valid ID.

NAIAS Education Days
It’s a smart kid who loves the NAIAS and can appreciate one of the most awesome fieldtrips. ever. School groups are welcome Wednesday, January 20th, for the chance to learn more about the automotive industry. (A staple Detroit lesson.)
